Jerseys

Louis Garneau cycling jersey

Cycling jerseys are designed especially to maximize performance while cycling. They are made of lightweight wicking fabrics to pull moisture away from the skin to keep you cool and dry. Most have pockets sewn into the lower portion of the back, which are perfect for carrying a wallet or I.D. as well as keys, a cell phone or powerbar. Cycling jerseys are also cut specifically to fit well while in the cycling position. With a longer shirt tail and slim fit, they prevent the back from riding up and the front from bunching. Jerseys are available in both long and short sleeve styles. We offer a full line of Pearl Izumi, Louis Garneau, and Canari jerseys as well as custom order items. Women's specific styles are available.

Cycling Shorts

Cycling shorts bring a whole new dimension of comfort to your riding experience. The lycra and specially designed chamois (pronounced "shammy") help to reduce leg friction, wick away moisture, and provide added relief from the pressure points of the saddle. For more information on the benefits of cycling shorts, read "Why Cycling Shorts?"

Not a fan of the lycra? There are a full line of baggy shorts with an included chamois-equipped liner to ease the pain from long hours in the saddle. Women's specific styles are available.

Jackets

We all deal with the weather and windy conditions of Northwest Ohio and Southern Michigan. We have a way to combat that wind. Cycling jackets are a great way to cut the wind and keep you warm on those spring and fall days. Cycling jackets are not only good for reducing wind, but are also water resistant, to help keep you dry on those misty days. Some jackets we carry have removable sleeves so they convert into vests for days when the weather changes. Women's specific styles are available.

Gloves

Cycling gloves serve a variety of purposes. One of the most important it absorbing vibration. Pads in the palms of the gloves absorb the vibrations coming through the handlebar, cutting down on pain and numbness. Additionally gloves can help prevent blisters. Off-road gloves have padding on the top of the hand and fingers to protect from branches and sticks that may otherwise potentially cause scrapes and cuts. Most gloves are reinforced on the palms to protect the hand from cuts and scrapes during a fall.

Arm and Leg warmers

Are you planning on riding during the early spring and late fall months? Then arm and leg warmers are a perfect alternative to trainer rides. Made of a fleece-lined, wind-resistent lycra, warmers are perfect for those days when it is too cold for bare arms and legs but not cold enough for long sleeves and tights. They are also easy to put on and take off as temperatures change throughout the day.

Socks

Cycling socks are made of a thin breathable material, perfect to fit inside of a cycling or tennis shoe. Cycling socks do not absorb sweat from your foot, but rather wick the moisture away from your foot where it can more easily evaporate, helping keep your feet cool and prevent blisters.
